I have amazing news. We've finally won this fight!! The Prime Minister has just announced that life-saving melanoma drug will be listed on the PBS. It's hard to put what this journey has been into words. Shane fought strong and hard for 15 years, but at 32 years old he was taken from his family and we lost a special part of our lives forever. Right until the end, Shane was campaigning to stay alive. Today, the government finally listened to the pleas of 170,000 signatures on our Change.org petition and given us, Shane's family, the right to see his legacy live on. Shane fought hard for this, not only in the hope for his own life, but for thousands of Australians that will now benefit from this drug. It's an overwhelming day. I think this brings another piece of closure for us, knowing that Shane's fight will help thousands of other melanoma sufferers – and give them a chance against this dreadful disease. Thank you to everyone for the amazing support. Dannii, Jett (and his little brother due any week now) P.S. I don't think this would have happened without your help, and support of our petition. I'd really encourage anyone else needing to campaign for some change to get a petition going – change.org/start-a-petition
