Have we lost our love for our harbour?

This is a question to ask when you read the article (follow link), on how we allow it to be treated (the picture in the article is most telling). Restoration of the lost foreshore of Onehunga, lost when state highway 20 went in, is one way of us restoring our love for this place. Auckland needs to stop treating the Manukau like a cesspool, giving Onehunga back its beaches is a first step. Aotea have kids swimming and sailing in these waters and want to see it put to right. Please keep up the good work spreading the word and getting signatures.
