The unincorporated town of El Sobrante is the proposed new home for BAART Richmond which offers buprenorphine and methadone, which are narcotics, for Heroine addicts.   This clinic is within a half a block from homeowners in San Pablo, as well as local businesses and a pre-school.   By allowing BAART to conduct business in this area, this will bring drug addicts to El Sobrante which will negatively effect the revenues of local businesses.  It's difficult enough for current local business owners to drive traffic and to stay in business in El Sobrante, and with the addition of BAART, the businesses of this town will either move, or go out of business.  This town needs improvement, not drug addicts and increased crime rates.  

According to a representative of the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce, this property address, although it seems to be in El Sobrante, is actually in Richmond, in which the Mayor of Richmond Tom Butt has the POWER to NOT ALLOW this in OUR TOWN.
