Establish a Todd Beamer Medal of Courage

Petition to the President of the United States and Congress

We, the undersigned, respectfully ask the President and Congress to establish a Todd Beamer Medal of Courage to honor individuals who risk their lives to stop terrorism, prevent hijackings, and protect innocent people.

Inspired by Todd Beamer and the brave passengers of United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001, this medal would recognize extraordinary courage, selflessness, and sacrifice in the face of terrorism.

Let us honor those who stand up against terror and protect others, remembering the words that became a symbol of courage: “Let’s Roll.”
