2019/04/02

On 6 December 2018 the Senate referred the National Integrity Commission Bill 2018 (No. 2) and the provisions of the National Integrity (Parliamentary Standards) Bill 2018 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry.

The Bill establishes the Australian National Integrity Commission as an independent public sector anti-corruption commission for the Commonwealth; provides for the appointment, functions and powers of the National Integrity Commissioner and commissioners; and makes consequential amendments to the Law Enforcement Integrity Commissioner Act 2006, Ombudsman Act 1976 and Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013.

Drs Pun & Ng on behalf of AHReform made a submission on Sham Peer Review in the medical complaint process. The submission has been accepted by the Australian Senate. The submission (No 22) is published on the Senate website which you can access online.

AHReform will work closely with the Australian government to address the endemic bullying and corruptions in the healthcare industry.
