2019 FRIDAY FAIR FUNDING CALLS Begin Tomorrow, February 15!
Dear Friends - thank you for joining the Fair Funding fight in Cherry Hill, our petition has now been signed by nearly 2,000 individuals and we are ready to begin 2019 FRIDAY CALLS to SHARE THE LOVE with Trenton! These begin tomorrow, February 15.
Suggested script: “My name is __________ and I am calling from Cherry Hill to urge you to fully fund our schools' SFRA for the upcoming budget. Cherry Hill students have been shortchanged for many years. As a result, the Health and Safety of our students and staff are at stake. Our buildings are deteriorating, security needs improvement, and infrastructure is crumbling. For too long, we have been doing more with a lot less than other districts, and now our schools are at their breaking point. Our district receives half of the money it should get from the state. This isn't fair.”

We need to call in serious numbers OR WE FACE MOVING BACKWARD IN FUNDING! We are meeting with Assemblyman Greenwald in the first week of March. We will have preliminary State Funding numbers on March 7. We have precious little time to influence these key dates and will need to campaign for OUR FAIR SHARE while other School Districts are asking for theirs (many of them screaming). And we need as many of our neighbors and friends to join with us as we can get. Thank you for your support and you voice! Together we will be heard again this year.
