Petition updateLabour members declaring Israel a racist endeavour ask NEC to abandon full IHRAJLM and LFoI Complaint; Lansman letter; Disputes Panel; Fundraising

Dear signer,

Labour’s Head of Complaints, Sophie Goodyear, recently emailed me to say that my complaint against the Jewish Labour Movement and Labour Friends of Israel was well and truly in the bucket. So – thanks to the 12 of you who wrote in to ask her to reconsider. But that was only my complaint. It strikes me that if you were to submit a complaint separately, without referencing me, Ms Goodyear would have to consider it as a whole new complaint. Would you be interested in making a big contribution to the campaign by sending her a complaint of your own? It is not much work. I have written a pre-prepared one you could use. Just click on this link- maybe get your friends to do so too – even if they are not in the Labour Party. If we send Mss Goodyear and Formby enough emails, maybe she’ll be forced to acknowledge that there really IS a problem in Labour being affiliated to bodies whose sole purpose is to promote Israel’s racist doctrine and to undermine the Party itself, whenever Tony Bliar is not leading it.

So if you’d like to help, click where I suggested – and let your PC do the rest.

I’ve recently had a bit of grief from Jon Lansman – leader of Momentum (I just re-joined) - who objected to me writing to him at the NEC (I occasionally do a “round Robin” to all 39 NEC members (here’s who’s on it)). If you want to read about our contretemps, click here. Mr Lansman bears the greatest responsibility for lumbering us with the IHRA. For putting in this pernicious policy alone, I hope his days at Momentum are numbered.

At present there are 535 others apart from yourself who’ve signed this petition, but obviously the more of us there are, the harder it will be for the NEC to expel us all. In the spirit of saving your own skin, as well as helping get rid of this dreadful IHRA, please print off a flyer or two like the one I took to Labour Conference and take them to your Labour Party meeting. Maybe there will be comrades there who feel as you do. To print them off, just click here to download one and hit print.

I suppose the main bit of news I have for you is that my case has been referred to the Labour's Disputes Panel, who meet on the 20th November. I have no idea what their powers are, but I suspect they won’t expel me just yet. I’ve asked twice now for a copy of Labour’s Disciplinary Policies and Procedures, but none have been forthcoming. If you have ever seen these, please email me at postmaster@roseburn.32.plus.com and tell me where I can find them. What astonishes me is that for all its enthusiasm for ridding the Party of those whose faces don’t fit, the NEC allows Ms Formby and co to get away with not giving everybody who is investigated a copy of their Disciplinary Policies and Procedures. If they don’t have it written down, and just make it up as they go along, things at HQ are even worse than I thought.

I thought I’d leave you with links to a few short gems that some of you have recently sent me.

Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention. If you or any rich friends/relatives want to donate to the campaign fund, please go to tinyurl.com/legalihra – my elder son is well pissed off with me for squandering his inheritance; if enough people donate, he’ll get his legacy

Cheers
