Provide a dairy-free milk option for your lactose intolerant and vegan customers.

The Issue

Many of Tim Hortons competitors like Starbucks, Second Cup, Timothy's and even Coffee Time already provide soy or almond milk. I'm petitioning Timmies to get with the times and offer customers a dairy-free option for their coffee!   I think a lot of people will even be surprised to learn that Timmies doesn't have soy or almond milk on hand.  I was.  My husband, was in a Tim's recently, asked for soy milk and the person behind the counter actually laughed at him. I found this so hard to believe that I sent emails to Tim Hortons' customer service department (which were never answered by the way), and called their corporate headquarters, and was told that Tim Horton's CEO didn't consider providing a dairy-free option as a priority. Seems like a poor business decision to me.   It's a new age and a new time, yet it seems that some companies like Tim's have outdated policies. One of the simplest and most commonly desired options, in relation to the food and beverage industry, is offering a dairy-free alternative.  Considering the number of people with dairy allergies, lactose intolerance, or who are vegan, it seems like an easy thing Tim Hortons could do to make a lot of customers happy and also expand their customer base.   If you're interested in helping us make this happen, please sign the petition, let's see a new morning with a fresh cup of soy coffee, from Tim's!
