During the pandemic and lockdowns TikTok flooded the internet with videos of self harm, purging, animal cruelty and suicide. These were watched by the children of the UK whilst they were in their bedrooms for months. We now have a mental health crises which TikTok fuelled.

My own family has largely spent the last 3 years battling mental health illness with a succession of hospital admissions. A lot of this was caused by TikTok sending harmful images to children during the Covid pandemic. 

So TikTok should now fund mental health hubs across the UK.  I plan to deliver my petition to TikTok HQ at 4 Lindsey St, Barbican, London EC1A 9HP.
