Firstly I want to thank all of our supporters and welcome the new ones, we have had a lot of signatures in recent weeks.
The last few weeks have been significant for our campaign, with a major news story published by Vice News:

Which resulted in YouTube removing many accounts from its platform that were promoting The Real World:

This was a MAJOR milestone that was 6 months in the making. Everyone who has signed this petition contributed to this moment which is a big step to weakening Tate's grip on a generation of young boys.
HOWEVER I still have some major concerns which I would like to communicate with you all:
- Tim Hume reached out to YouTube for comment after they removed these channels after his article. Their response was concerning. They initially tried to claim that these channels were removed the week before the article. When it was pointed out that this was blatantly false, they conceded that it was the following week, but said it was due to their standard enforcement of their policies, not Vice's article
- When asked for the reasoning for one of the channels being removed, they gave the response that it was due to "misleading the public by making them click links to move from YouTube to another website". This raised alarm bells for me as it suggests that they still have no understanding of what The Real World program is and how it exploits children. This leaves me skeptical that the removal of the channels was in good faith, not a PR stunt and was an enforcement of their policies that will be maintained.
- They have still not removed a number of prominent promotional channels for The Real World, most notably the accounts of Tate's War Room members Justin Waller, Dylan Madden and Joule Sullivan. This is nonsensical. They have supposedly removed channels that make clips of Tate's team promoting The Real World. But the aforementioned channels where many of these clips originate have remained?
The other obvious concern is that Vice reached out to TikTok and Instagram, who also allow TRW promotion, and have still yet to receive a response.
So, we have had an enormous few weeks with huge progress. But we are only getting started, and still have so much to achieve.
