I have a major update that has come after the recent Vice News article exposing Andrew Tate's scheme The Real World. Here is this initial article:

YouTube has taken a major step and removed much of the content promoting The Real World. This development is detailed in this update from Vice News:

This is a major achievement that would not have been possible without all of your support, so thank you. 

I must add that I still have concerns. Firstly, that TikTok and Instagram failed to respond to Vice News and have made no efforts to address the issue. And secondly, that the statements from a YouTube representative made in the Vice article do not make me confident that they still understand the gravity of the issue. So while this is a major achievement over 6 months in the making, we still have much work to do to ensure that YouTube keep on top of this situation, and that the other social media companies follow suit.
