Hi my name is Adam Stringwell and my account was banned on Tik Tok after a large group of homophobic people came across my account, I was on a live stream doing my drag show (as I am a drag queen) and I noticed a large amount of homophobic comments being sent on the live stream and suddenly I was Informed by viewed of my stream my account had been banned. My livestream was ended and I was logged out of my account. I never had any contact from Tik Tok to tell me why my account was banned despite over 20 emails sent, support tickets and Direct messages on Instagram, it has been over 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing from Tik Tok and am sure I have lost my account for good. I spent 2 years growing my account to 77,000 followers. It was a safe space for many people and a way to show case my drag and it has been taken away and Tik Tok won’t help out. I feel left behind by Tik Tok and am running out of options.
