I’ve had many violations, I’ve actually lost count. I post primarily Black Lives Matter related content. As well as pro LGBTQ+ and anti Trump content. All of my violations have centered mostly around my BLM content. Usually I’m not given a reason for the violations. When I am given a reason it always seems to not fit the content. For instance I’ll receive a violation for “adult nudity” when there is no nudity or “harassment and bullying” when there is none. I’ll appeal those violations and the appeals are generally denied. I’ve had so many violations that it’s become difficult to even keep track. Most of them are simply me speaking on inequality. As well as comparing how police treat white suspects vs black suspects. Also I’ve reported people making racist, homophobic and sexist content in the past and nothing had happened. The content remains and the creator receives not punishment. The same thing happens with comments made toward me. The comments are acceptable however when I make a post shinning a light on those comments, they remove it. I’ve gotten multiple violations for simply addressing clearly racist comments they’ve allowed. Things like people calling me a monkey. Saying we (black people) should be shot or ran over in the streets when we protest. It’s left to me to block that person or delete the comment. I have literally over a thousand people blocked currently. I think it’s clear that some voices are acceptable on that platform and some are not. I’ve messaged tiktok multiple times asks asked for transparency and have only received vague generic responses. Far too many creators on this platform are allowed to freely spread hatred and ignorance on this platform while those being victimized are unjustly silenced.
