We all know Tik Tok is the most downloaded app with over 1B+ downloads worldwide. It is very popular among youngers these days. And this is even in India, you can find this app in everyone's phone today. It's a good video sharing platform for people to showcase their talent and hobbies. You have 15 seconds to show everything you got.

But there are many reasons why this app should be banned in our country. I would like to share them with you point wise.

1) People are using it for spreading fake news through this app. We have recently seen how it's user's spreading fake news about Corona virus and social distancing.

2) Many of its users using this platform to spread hate and communalism. We have seen the popular creators like Mr Faisu commenting on tabrez mob lynching and promoting communal violance.

3) Animal abuse, child abuse, vulgarity, objectifying women, (even things that are illegal as per the law), are being promoted and in fact, being glorified there.

3) This app is even promoting Women and domestic violence. Recently we have seen trending video's on tiktok promotion acid attack on women.

4) There is a big privacy threat for its users. It is a China based app with its headquarter in Beijing. We all know Chinese government has the access to the data of all the company based in China. Even military personnel's on many countries including India are strictly advised not to have such Chinese app's in their phones. Many American court house even demanded for deep investigation regarding this matter. So we can say this app is even a matter of National security.

On February 27, 2019, the FTC fined TikTok Inc. US$5.7 million for collecting information from minors under the age of 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act in the United States.

The list is pretty long. Now the question arises that if this app contains so many cons then why is it still prevailing and earnings hundreds of crores in our country. Recently we have seen TikTok's rating in Google Play Store declining from 4.5 to about 1.3. But this is not enough, this app needs to be banned.

so am asking you to help me out in filing this petition and get TIKTOK BANNED IN INDIA.
