Hello all 167,226 of you! First of all, let me start by wishing you all a happy and healthy 2017! It's a brand new year, and a brand new chance to make a positive impact on the lives of dolphins around the world. It's so important that in this new year we keep up the pressure on Thomas Cook, and let them know that we want to see an end to dolphins in captivity for good. It doesn't matter how big, or how clean the tank is, or how well looked after and well fed the dolphins are, a cage is still a cage; captivity is still captivity. That is why, from 8pm this evening, myself and Dolphin Freedom UK will be tweeting at Thomas Cook, using the hashtag #DropTheDolphins. It'd be wonderful if as many of you could get involved as possible, and send a tweet to Thomas Cook. I'd love to see #DropTheDolphins trending! You can find out more about the Tweetstorm here: https://www.facebook.com/events/154606441689108/ Alternatively, if you don't have Twitter, you can always message Thomas Cook via their Facebook directly. Finally, in early December, I was interviewed about this petition and I'm delighted to share the finished article with you now: http://the-ipf.com/2017/01/04/petition-dolphin-tourism/. I'm so very proud of this interview - which made the front page of The IPF, and wish to express my thanks to Tanviya Sapru for her wonderful writing and for helping to spread the word. And as always, I'm thankful to all of you for your continued compassion and support, Katie
