Dear Supporters Happy New Year ! as we greet 2018 with anticipation and hope for Campaign success this year. The high of 2017 was reaching our new year target of 50,000 supporters early, in fact a week before Christmas. Amazing. Thanks so much its a fantastic result. Lets reach 100k by Christmas 2018 and watch this space for media coverage. Our end goal is too important to be distracted by negativity and we hope the attacks of a personal nature on social media are behind us. I am aware of how far the #alwayscarrytwo message has travelled worldwide. We on the campaign have formed some amazing friendships with allergy advocates across the world with a common desire to protect their children and others and who work tirelessly to achieve this. This week we started a new photo campaign #shewillalwayscarrytwo OR #hewillalwayscarrytwo and #timeforchange which will be used on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts and sent directly to the BSACI, please follow @campaign42AAI if you haven’t already and contribute if you wish with images of you & your child. Lastly if you are a follower on Twitter or Facebook you may have seen our Iris share her brave account of her son’s anaphylaptic reaction and the emotions she felt following his reaction. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am that Iris felt she was able to share her sons account in the hope of gaining support to the campaign and to remind people of the importance of carrying two AAI’s. Amazing lady and im thrilled she came on board and created the campaign along with the brilliant Lindsay. I may be a little absent from updates the next few months as im working on a Nutfreeliving advice webpage, I have closed the confectionery business but have a Facebook Food Guide and Support forum ongoing but think a central hub for living nut free is needed to, it will eventually have a section on the campaign progress too.
