Dear All I'm so sorry that an update has been so long coming but rest assured we have continued to campaign at many levels for the right to carry a minimum of two auto injector pens. Many of you will have noticed last months ' joint statement ' from Allergy UK, BSACI and Anaphylaxis Campaign. Both the AC and Allergy UK both stressed how they cannot agree with the BSACI recommendation that people with should carry 1 or O pens and that they support the MHRA guidance of 2 pens as a minimum. Luckily the MHRA are not backing down at this stage despite the BSACI best efforts and I cannot stress enough how important it is to quote MHRA guidelines when you go for your repeat prescription. So I move on to the most exciting news. Today the campaign team launched a #alwayscarrytwo video that can now be found on YouTube. It was produced by a marvellous lady Lindsay who is part of the team and her husband Andy and together with myself and Iris we collated all the pictures you sent to #wheredoyoucarrytwo. The video is a stark reminder that normal people go about their lives carrying two pens to keep them safe . It doesn't claim to be professional it's a video made by 3 mums (and a Dad) and lots of amazing photos taken by amazing people .
