Christchurch Professional Dog Walkers Inc is now formally incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, as of 12 January 2026, and registered with the New Zealand Companies Office.

This incorporation strengthens our ability to:

Represent professional dog walkers as a recognised body
Advocate for evidence-based, fair, and enforceable dog control policy
Engage formally with Christchurch City Council, stakeholders, and regulators
Promote canine welfare, public safety, and professional accountability

This step ensures our work is transparent, structured, and accountable — and that the voices behind this petition are supported by a legitimate, governed organisation acting in the public interest.
