Announcing Palentine's Day:

Whereas pets bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love to our lives, enriching our days with their companionship and unique personalities;

Whereas pet owners dedicate their time, energy, and resources to provide loving homes and happy lives for their animal companions;

Whereas pet care providers and volunteers selflessly work to ensure the well-being of pets through veterinary care, shelter services, training, and community outreach;

Whereas We recognize the importance of celebrating the love and bond shared between pets and people in our community;

Now, therefore, let it be proclaimed that the third Monday of every February shall henceforth be known as "Palentine's Day"—a day to honor, appreciate, and celebrate pets, pet owners, pet care providers, and volunteers everywhere.
