It has been three months since the denial of Mohammed’s immigration case was overturned, in large part to your support. Unfortunately, Mohammed and his family have not heard anything more from the US government since they were conditionally reapproved in June. The family remains in danger and in hiding while they wait for news from the US government about the next steps of the process and the date of their escape. The number of Change.org petition signers in support of this family has surpassed 50,000. This has helped us to reach over 50 members of Congress who are assisting with the case. We urge you to continue to reach out to your representatives (even if you have already done so). VFAI is nonpartisan group of veterans who share the belief that America is strongest when its policies and actions match its ideals. The organization has helped in our efforts to resettle the rest of this family who has sacrificed so much for America. We cannot thank you enough for your support and continued efforts.
