Hi everyone, my name is auggy and i am speaking from a therian, furry, lgbtq members point of veiw. This problem has always deeply concerned me now the problem I’m about to talk about is the amount of bullying that happens to alter humans and other kin I was on the bus the other day and I wear my gear to school to help with species dysphoria. A literal group of five boys were gossiping together, saying they were going to hold me down and rip off my tail and when I reported this to my gym teacher, which is what we do at our school. she told me that it was my fault for wearing a tail I believe the Therian school would be a Safe place for Therians alike. Where people can teach us about how to control our shifts. We can have optional classes like making masks. A lot of of the alter human community is neurodivergent so we have a lot of learning disabilities and trouble learning, and we could have special teachers and special classes that suit our abilities better Just an idea. I’m throwing out here, as a concerned therian friend, neighbor, and brother.
