We are sorry to announce that our much-loved Dad and Grandpa Kamal Foroughi died peacefully in his sleep on Monday 3 June; his funeral was very moving and attended by close family and friends.

Dad had Alzheimer’s dementia for years with memory loss symptoms first starting back in 2009. Dad has been living with us in our family home in Herts since early 2023 with excellent full-time live-in care.  We thank all those who loved and took care of Dad throughout his nearly 85 years, in particular recently from the care and medical professions.

Dad, Grandpa, thank you for everything.  We have so many great memories of you including your humour, gratitude, kindness and love (particularly of spending time with family and playing tennis). 

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
To God we belong and to God we will return.

Dad, Grandpa, may you rest in peace.
