I am pleased to report that my MP Oliver Dowden and I had a very constructive meeting with Tobias Ellwood, the UK Government Minister in charge of the Middle East. He assured us that Grandpa Kamal’s continued detention is a high priority matter and the Foreign Office is doing everything it can to help. From Iran, unfortunately we have had no results from the medical that Grandpa Kamal got on 17 November, or any other positive news since then. If you haven’t already, please do ask your family and friends to sign the petition to help bring Grandpa Kamal home. It takes only 5-10 minutes and has already made a huge difference to our family with the recent medical.
