Thank you to everyone who is supporting this petition and has signed it, this shows the strength of feeling and unity about this honour being awarded to Nick Clegg. We do not recognise that he was a success whilst in coalition, breaking promises to those who voted for him, as a result he lost his seat and now despite his unpopularity and his rants over Brexit, he is elevated to a knighthood. Our voices need to be listened too, surely such honours need to be awarded to those who have achieved things and to those that touch people's lives, instead of being an accepted right. We feel that the honours system is flawed, and would like to see something done about it.
