People are killing and torchering there own pets and getting the minimal sentence you can get in court. This does not show people it is wrong to kill so whats to stop the from commiting murder, it should not matter what species you are if an animal kills a human it gets put down, no chances for help or therapy, so why if its the other way round do people get 3 sqaure meals a day, a roof over there head, a tv, heating, social interaction and the opportunity to reoffend repeatedly. What gives us that right to say that killing a dog is frowned upon but to kill a human is not tolerated. In the US murderers with no hope get put down and people with hope get a long sentence, why should our animals be any different to us if your nieghbour killed you cat or dog would you like to see them get less time than a shoplifter? Then sign this petition please, equal laws for the killing of humans and animals.
