The Issue

The Hunting Act ensures that foxes, hares, deer and other mammals are protected from the horrors of traditional hunting. With the free vote looming - now that the Conservatives have been restored to power - some MPs are prepared to repeal this.

Sadly my MP, Theresa May, is one of these, and has stated she will vote to repeal and overturn the ban - one that has been successfully in place since 2004. Please help me now by making your voice heard to show her that the vast majority of her constituents (and the rest of the country's population) do not agree - our wildlife deserves protection from cruelty. I'm sure most of us would not like to see a dog or cat terrorized, chased with hounds for hours & finally killed in the most horrific way - in fact you could be prosecuted for this. So let's give all animals the same protection & KEEP the hunting ban in place.

Please take a minute or two to sign my petition and become an important voice in helping my MP to reflect on her position - encouraging her to change her decision to that of caring rather than supporting unnecessary cruelty.
