it would appear that I have some potentially good news! I have been advised today (by a member of the UKCEN Forum, who are an amazing team that offer advice and support supported by Lawyers in this field,to those Affected by the new EU immigration rights) that our Children do automatically have British citizenship by descent and are therefore entitled to their UK passport �
The Information and advice out there is so misleading and contradicting that it has varied from not fulfilling requirements, prepare for worst . Children are not automatically allowed to stay , apply for status to then be told no they are British and don’t need Status! My advice given for my husband was much the same one Department say no not entitled thr other say he is entitled. Although our story is not yet 100% clarified. I am hopeful that when our children physically hold their UK passports in their hands that Our Nightmare is coming to an end. The only snag is we have to apply immediately, prior to The leaving date or no deal which ever comes first if at all!

I am amending our crowdfunding page at this time, asking instead that donations are made to cover passport and settled status fees, ccertified translation of all German documents etc
Please continue to share as this is not just our voice, but those of others affected too! We all need clarification and the scare Minderung needs to be STOPPED!!
