Anyone trying to make a difference to the climate crisis at a consumer level will find it very difficult. Walking around the supermarkets reading tiny labels to determine whether they are happy enough with that products impact on the environment. Most products are harmful to the environment through their use of palm oil. This petition is aimed at forcing companies to declare clearly and boldly on the front of their packing the content of palm oil in that product. This would not only help people find sustainable products easier, but would also work to encourage people to make more sustainable choices; and encourage an attitude towards sustainability from people who were not thinking as much about it before.

This petition is calling for legislation to make companies state their palm oil content clearly and boldly on the front of their packaging, with the exception of products using sustainable palm oil sources.
