Again, the sanction on welfare assistance simply does not work. Here I have the arduous task of figuring out how to pay the most important bills: gas, electric, broadband and phone. If I can't maintain a warm home it could lead to illness. If I am not on broadband I can't do effective job search activity. Oh, I could travel to the (jokecentre) jobcentre! No. My JCP is a good bus ride away. I would rather use the money I would have spent on bus fare on food. My food supply is dwindling. I drink a lot of coffee to help suppress my appetite and I will run out of coffee very soon at this rate. Tomorrow I will try once more for the HardShi* Fund. Would you believe that I have to apply again - from scratch! I will have to once again bring proof that I am in hardship to get the HardShi* Fund that they themselves have put me in unnecessarily! This is madness in extreme. But nobody working at the JCP (jokecentre) will ever point that out. If I say that these moves are, "evil" then, at best, the person responsible for the HardShi* fund will say, "it's harsh..." Now, that is kind of ambivalent. Does that person mean, harsh but fair? Or, harsh and unreasonable? I am obviously going for the latter. But it is as though some JCP workers, who feel a tad sympathetic to the plight of vulnerable people becoming even more vulnerable, must be ambivalent in their responses to a claimant expressing discomfort. EASY WORK I was thinking that I ought to apply for the job position of being a work coach as you don't need any qualifications whatsoever! You don't even have to listen to your client's needs and wants. All you have to do is sit there and be an ass. But knowing me, I would not follow stupid ideas and instructions coming from people who are supposed to be my superiors. Stupid is stupid no matter how many titles that come before and/or after your name. I just would not comply. So, that's me out of a job at the JCP!
