Today and every day since starting this petition we’ve been blown away by the stories you guys have been posting, about the effect of suicide on your lives and your hopes for the future. Here are just a couple…

"Keep going Matthew, we lost our beloved nephew Sam to suicide on his birthday last year. Still really hard and we had no idea of the statistics until it happened to our family. I hope altogether we can spare other families the pain of losing someone this way." – Lisa

"Losing my father 29 years ago whilst I lived abroad was the most painful and heartbreaking time of my life … I would have given anything to give my dad a big hug and remind him how much I loved him.” – Karen

I know that speaking about such grave loss is not easy but, in doing so, and through supporting this campaign, you are part of making a difference for many.

That's why we ask that you keep sharing your experiences and your stories – on the petition, below in the comments on this update, or on CALM’s video on Facebook: http://bit.ly/StandAgainstSuicide-video

Not sure what to say? Here’s a tweet you can post to show your support and take a #StandAgainstSuicide this World Suicide Prevention Day: http://bit.ly/StandAgainstSuicide-tweet

We’ve sparked more than one million conversations in just one day.

The more conversations we have, the more signatures we get, the closer to our goal we become.

Keep sharing,

With love,

Matthew and the team at CALM x
