During your earlier stages of education there were many more ways to get ahead and complete your education at the time, some even completed earlier stages of education faster than others. That’s because they gave you more opportunities and ways to get through your education faster and quicker. But for later stages of education such as College and University, stages in education that are arguably more pressing and important than previous ones, they do not.

It takes longer and your options are seemingly limited. This should not be the case when in fact it should be the opposite. At this stage in their education people are usually more responsible for more things such as careers and families. Things that require there attention and time which means they can not fully devote themselves to there college and/or university education as they have other important matters to deal with and this will not affect not only how they do in there studies as they can get potentially overwhelmed but also how long they must remain in school.

Most people do not want to spend their whole lives studying and learning. A persons responsibilities may increase throughout there lives and as such they need to spend more time focusing on such responsibilities but they can not as there education may affect the time they are able to afford and offer such importances.

I’m not saying education is not important, it is and a diploma or some other sign of graduation or completion can help you a lot in your life. But people need for their education to be able to work for them not the other way around. If Education is something that is meant to help you than shouldn’t it be able to help you if can afford to spend all time in classes a when you have a whole life that needs to be lived.

And even if you are not that responsible or preoccupied it should not matter. Most individuals want the chance to live their lives to the fullest rather than being tied down by monotonous schedules and classes. Such things may have adverse and negative repercussions on your psyche and mental health as they are faced with fact they will have to give up there own time to gain something that will show they learned a higher level of knowledge and achieved a higher level of education.

Another way this could be seen or worded is that there needs to be more methods and ways to acquire college and/or university credits. Credits are a sign of your educational progress and they are what’s used in order for you to eventually graduate. The should be more alternative ways to acquire and cultivate more credit, ways with the potential to help accelerate and hasten your higher education if you are non-traditional college and/or university student. Education should work for you and not the other way around. After all education was invented to help and aid people. The curriculum of colleges and universities needs to be changed for betterment of everyone. Or at the very least altered with certain opportunities and paths and methods added to the preexisting curriculum of Colleges and Universities.

I’m not saying to make the knowledge we acquire in college and/or university easier but rather create more ways, routes, and methods to accelerate there education. There a lot of people would benefit from this as there are lot of people who can pick things up and understand certain things quickly. Not everyone learns at the same pace as everyone else and they should not be faulted for that nor should that desire be snuffed or quelled to fit everyone else. But that’s not say there aren’t those who don’t prefer to learn and study at a slower because they would rather learn at a rate that they are comfortable with because for them it who they come understand and comprehend things. That will always remain a respectable  and available option but rather it should become one of many options, routes, and paths people should be able to take depending on whether they want to take things at normal slow pace or speed things and accelerate there learning and education.
