The WSA and the Office of Student Involvement have CANCELED Spring Fling! They did so without any input from the student body. Instead, they want to organize something called University Day (some sort of carnival similar to "spring thing" in 2020)??

The University has taken the chance to destroy a beloved tradition, blaming financial reasons and COVID. 

However, with the recent rise in cases and the continuation of athletic events with spectators, student performances, and lack of isolation rooms, an outdoor concert with masks is in the realm of possibility! 

In the past ~80k of the WSA budget went to Spring Fling. 35k is going towards University Day & additional costs are subsidized by Wes. Why not use this money for a concert? Even a scaled back version would be better than a children’s carnival. 

Make it make sense plz?!
