The World needs a John Prine/Oh Boy Records Sirius XM Station!
The Issue
We need a John Prine/Oh Boy Records Sirius XM Station!
John Prine is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. He has been nominated for 14 Grammy's and won 5, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as many other awards.
In 1981, John Prine co-founded his own record label in Nashville, Tennessee called Oh Boy Records. Prine's influence is seen in the work of younger artists with whom he has mentored including, Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, Brandi Carlile, Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgraves, Margo Price, Tyler Childers, and many, many more! Many of these are signed to Prine's label, Oh Boy Records.
We, the undersigned, feel strongly that the music of John Prine, and all of the great Americana and Folk music he has been such a big part of for the past 50 years, needs to be brought to the masses via Sirius XM with his own station!
