A little over a year and a half ago, a legislative session lived up to the Wisconsin motto: Forward.  The Healthy Youth Act mandated comprehensive, medically accurate, and age appropriate sex education within schools that opted to include human development within their curriculum. 

Currently, SB 237: The Healthy Youth Act Repeal is threatening to put this forward motion for the state in jeopardy by repealing crucial elements to the initial bill.  UW-Madison Advocates for Choice will not stand for this type of attack on Wisconsin families and youth.  We believe in open communication and decision making made among children and their guardians and the right for children and teens to be presented with both a comprehensive and medically accurate understanding of human development in an institution they feel comfortable in.

Please join UW-Madison Advocates for Choice in signing the letter below urging these decision makers to vote “no” to the Healthy Youth Act Repeal so Wisconsin can continue, forward.
