WOTP, short for Wellness Of The People, is a founding sub-division (Jacket) under the emerging platform MADE FOR US (MFU). While MFU is still in development, it is set to launch in the near future with the mission of putting the needs and freedoms of the people first.

Purpose of This Petition

This petition stands as a formal rebuttal to the 2025 policy changes mandating ID verification across all forms of media using artificial intelligence. These changes pose several serious concerns:

Invasion of Privacy: Forcing adults to provide ID to access legal media content is a significant violation of privacy rights.
Unreliable Technology: AI is not always accurate. Using it to enforce identity checks could lead to errors and unintended consequences.
Security Risks: Many media platforms use third-party services that are frequently targeted and breached. Requiring sensitive personal data only increases exposure to risk.
Freedom of Choice: It is unacceptable for companies or activist organizations to dictate what people can or cannot access—especially when the content in question is legal.
Creative Censorship: Groups like Collective Shout should not be allowed to influence or censor the creative expression of others. Doing so undermines artistic freedom and personal storytelling.
Why This Matters

Although some of these efforts claim to be in the public interest, they often end up harming the very freedoms they claim to protect. The presence of parental controls already offers a tool for managing content access for minors. That control should not be extended to adults through forced verification or censorship.

Furthermore, these actions are counterproductive to the progress of feminist values. Silencing certain portrayals of women in media under the assumption that representation equals endorsement is a dangerous path. Reality can be uncomfortable, but erasing it from creative works sets society back—not forward.

Demonizing fictional media that depicts violence or struggle—especially when those depictions are part of storytelling—only results in women being removed from games and narratives altogether. That’s not empowerment; that’s erasure.

This petition urges a reevaluation of AI-enforced ID verification laws and stands firmly against censorship disguised as advocacy. Wellness Of The People believes in a future where freedom of expression, privacy, and individual rights are not compromised by flawed systems or ideological overreach.
