I hope you got the latest update from yesterday, and are filling the Disney on Broadway and Frozen on Broadway social media pages with your messages, comments, and more. If you are, thank you! Please keep it up, and continue to tag both pages in your posts, statuses, and comments to really get their attention. Also tag Ciara Renée, McKenzie Kurtz, and Ryan McCartan, too! Or any of the cast members from the recent cast that stands out to you as a favorite. Be sure to tag them in order to show their support.

Here's an example of what I did on Instagram to give you an idea:

Dear @disneyonbroadwayand @frozenbroadway,

My name is Nessa, and I’m one of your many fans of the three Broadway shows that have been in NYC for many years, including The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen. Frozen has a special place in my heart because of its message of sisterhood and love. I was especially happy to see a black Anna perform in the role the two times I went to Arendelle.

I was saddened to hear that Frozen would not be returning to Broadway when the pandemic is over, along with countless others. I was looking forward to seeing @ciararenee8, @mckenziekurtz, @mccarya, and the entire cast again one more time. And here’s where I want to propose an idea to you.

Please produce a staged film production of Frozen with the most recent cast of the show to be made available on @disneyplus, @itunes, and more. This is an opportunity for the cast to give a grand performance in their roles one last time, make theatre more accessible to those who are unable to see a Broadway show, and give black girls a chance to see a black Elsa as so many others saw a black Anna several years earlier.

I have started a petition on @changedotorg asking for the very things stated here. Please take a look at the link in my bio for more information and see all the people who have signed and commented on this petition. I believe you will find that we all want this to be made possible, and we ask that you listen to us.

I hope you’re all staying safe out there, and we can’t wait to see you back on stage when the pandemic is over.

It doesn't have to be this way, but make it your own. Be creative! Just keep up the work of tagging the two main pages (or even fan pages), commenting on their posts that involve Frozen on Broadway, tweeting, sharing status updates, and more. We will keep on doing this as much as possible in order for them to pay attention to us and quite possibly attracting others to sign our petition.
