A planning application for a vast industrial infrastructure project on top of one the country's most unique Sites of Special Scientific Interest is open for public consultation until 7 DECEMBER only.
BUT NO ONE IN FARINGDON KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
The developer has failed to carry out any community consultation and only a couple of properties at Wicklesham itself have been notified. He claims Faringdon Neighbourhood Plan is all the evidence he needs that 'Faringdon wants this'.
Please help me to let the people of Faringdon know before it's too late. If no one in Faringdon objects, Faringdon Council will claim 'It's what Faringdon wants'. WE NEED TO BUST THAT MYTH.
Nowhere near enough people have come forward to help me distribute leaflets across Faringdon. Please give a couple of hours of your time to help, before it's too late.

This development is over 42,000 square metres, and could accommodate several thousand workers. If it goes ahead Faringdon will soon be unrecognizable. It will be used to justify an enormous expansion of housebuilding between Faringdon and Great Coxwell, and south of the A420 on the MidVale Ridge.
The evidence is already clear: the map above is from the Vale's 'call for land', and it shows that the owner of Wicklesham Quarry plans to concrete over the whole of Wicklesham Farm, from the A417 to more than half way to Fernham.
PLEASE HELP ME by spending an hour of two of your time in the next week distributing leaflets to LET THE PEOPLE OF FARINGDON KNOW before it's too late.
