It was announced that for graduation we had to do a car ceremony. Even though Pitt main, and many other surrounding high schools have figured out how to have in person graduation, we still are not allowed to do it. There have been many students and faculty that have addressed their want for an in person graduation, why can we not make this work? There are plenty of ways to make it work. We have large outdoor areas, we have a gym and other surrounding buildings we can look at renting out. There is no reason we couldn’t walk and separate in time frames by majors. I know I’m not the only one upset by this, so anyone who feels the same way as me, this is our chance to have a voice
