On September 16, Big 10 reversed their decision to cancel the football season this Fall. Games will resume, likely virtually, in October. Additionally, Congress shows more optimism for another COVID-19 relief package including aid for education and state funding.

During the "Virtual Conversation on the University of Maryland's Budget", the school highlighted a deficit largely from auxiliary services that include Fall athletics, and the need for additional state funding.

In addition to the just cost adjustment basis, as these sources of income become stronger for the University, we urge them to lower the cost of online education for students. Though highlighting the efforts made to accommodate students during this time, we are still being overcharged for the current experience and access to services we are being provided. We will continue to advocate for just action on these issues.
