Decades of campaigning by animal lovers like you has led to this moment. We now have just a couple of weeks left to show the Government that public opinion is overwhelmingly in favour of banning cruel cages as soon as possible.

As you fill in your consultation response, take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come in the fight against cruel cages. Just a decade ago, only 50% of hens were free from cages in the UK. In 2026, that number is around 83%. And, with your help today, I know we are closer than ever to freeing every hen.
