Hello everyone,

Thank you for adding your voice to the Third Option. 

We have submitted to Council and Councillors a request to add the third option to be tabled at the Council Meeting on Jan 29;  

‘Consider significant selected asset sales, aggressive cost savings in non-core areas and alternative revenue streams, all with the intent of keeping Rate rises in line with the CPI.’

It was necessary to do this now, because there is a lead time in preparing an agenda for the Council Meeting. 

The petition calls for an 'independant review of...' the same.  We have found that nearly all the work has already been done in AEC's Sustainability Review, which can be found at  https://doc.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/displaydoc.aspx?record=D23/465710
