Greg Hallgrimson was a police chief in Greenwood Missouri, when a father came in, and directed officers to an icy pond where he attempted to drown his 6 month old infant daughter.  Hallgrimson's brain then went into protective measures after witnessing such a horrible event. Not only was he a police chief he was also a training instructor, and misses out daily on things that he loved doing including his life long career due to these charges.

Chief Hallgrimson is facing felony charges for a civil rights violation.

We stand behind Greg Hallgrimson, and want the court to consider lesser charges.  Also to take into consideration that even though a badge is worn in this situation, mental health is a big thing in a traumatic event. Some things turn out differently than they should when you are instantly traumatized.  We are asking the court to dismiss felony charges in this case.
