Yesterday Chief Terrorist of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas called for an international peace conference to force a solution, which no doubt would entail the loss of Israeli control over large swaths of Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. We have also just learned that President Trump's Middle East Peace Team has briefed the UN security council regarding their plan, which according to the US administation “both sides are going to love some of it, and hate some of it.” Moreover, a White House spokesman named Josh Raffel noted that Trumps proposal will address the toughest points to the conflict. What does this mean for the Temple Mount? Let's remember that Trump made very clear during his Jerusalem Embassy announcement that he apposes any change to the status quo on the Temple Mount. Additionally, toughest point in the conflict is the Temple Mount? Could Trump's plan include a ban on Jews entering the site completely? Or could we see a Palestinian flag rise above the Dome of the Rock? On the other hand if a international summit is called and the UN officially recognizes Jerusalem at the capital of a Palestinian Terror State, that could also be the death kneel for Jewish presence on the Temple Mount.
