This evening, in honor of the start of the festive and joyous month of Adar, 2,000 people encircled the Temple Mount in dance and song. At each of the Temple Mount gates the dancing parade would stop to offer special prayers and Psalms. The monthly tradition began 16 years ago, as a way to further strengthen the connect the Jewish Nation to the Temple Mount and increase the yearning for the re-building of the Temple. The organizer of the event, Rabbi Yossi Peled stated: "Tonight we witnessed an uplifting and exciting event where thousand streamed to the gates of the Temple Mount from across the country. A special joyous atmosphere was certainly felt in the air."
