Last Thursday, while a group of 40 religious Jews were making pilgrimage to the Temple Mount, a number of Arab WAKF guards began cursing, screaming and harassing the group. In response, the entire group of Jewish pilgrims decided to stage a prayer revolt in violation of the anti-Democratic&Jewish |status quo", which deprives Jews of religious freedom at their holiest site. As soon as the Jews began to pray the Israeli police rushed into action and whisked the group off the Temple Mount and led them straight to the police station for detention. This incident serves as yet another reminder that the heart and soul of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, has yet to be restored to Jewish sovereignty. However, it elevates the heart to see proud Jews no longer take the humiliation and denigration sitting down. We hope that supporters worldwide will join the call by signing this petition.
