Steve Carell’s performance as Michael Scott on The Office (US) was not only groundbreaking and spectacular, but it would also change comedy and television making for all time. The fact that Steve was never awarded the Best Actor Award for this role is a gross oversight that needs to be remedied. As the show is no longer on the air the solution is for the Television Academy to right this wrong with a lifetime achievement award for Steve’s hard work and brilliant vision as an actor. Will you please join me in fighting to right this wrong!?!?!? Let’s send a strong message so the academy will fix this mistake! Let's give Steve the recognition he so rightfully deserves!
