Thank you to everyone who has already signed and shared this petition. Your support is powerful, but we urgently need more people to join in. Please keep spreading the word.

EA has confirmed a $55 billion deal to go private under Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake, and Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners. This is the largest buyout in gaming history.

While EA’s CEO insists the company’s values will remain unchanged, employees inside the company see it differently. As reported by The Sims Community, one EA employee said:

“Andrew Wilson basically said ‘f you’ to all women and LGBTQ employees at EA with this deal.”

Another employee expressed fear of layoffs, pointing out that “layoffs usually follow those type of acquisitions.” These statements highlight the real concern inside EA about what this takeover means for equality, inclusivity, and creative freedom.

The Sims has always been a game about diversity and self-expression. If political influence and censorship take hold, the impact won’t stop with one game — it could shape the future of gaming itself.

Please continue signing and sharing this petition widely. Every signature counts in showing EA and its new owners that the gaming community will not accept censorship or the silencing of equality.
