Enough is enough!
The time for talk is over.
The time for united South African action has begun.
This petition has grown to 384,000 signatures.
At the rate at which the petition is progressing, I expect it to reach 500,000 in early December 2020.
I am aiming for this march to take place around the middle of December from District Six, Central Cape Town to Parliament.
THERE ARE THOSE WHO SUGGEST DECEMBER 16, 2020 BUT I AM STILL KEEPING THE OPTIONS OPEN.
When it gets to 500,000 signatures, I want the local communities from Cape Town, and whoever else wants to join us, to become part of the march. That is why I am starting the planning immediately.
Please use the Comments section under Discussion to indicate your willingness to support this march, by saying: “Yes count me in. I am part of this march’.
Then also, in the same comment leave me your email address so that I may contact you personally.
If you support the march in principle, but you cannot be there physically you may sponsor an item as listed below such as a poster, leaflets, a banner, T-shirts, a peak cap, etc.
Also, in the same comment leave me your email address so that I may contact you personally.
If you prefer to send it to me directly, then email me at:

I, with the support of several Civic organizations in Cape Town, especially from the townships in Cape Town, am planning a national march to Parliament to protest against the cold-blooded murder of farmers and farmworkers. We are compelled to act because this spirit of lawlessness is spreading to cities and rural towns.
I have several Civic leaders in Cape Town on Board with me already.
If you have signed this petition and would like to join us in the march,
THE NATURE OF OUR MARCH
1. This national march is a march for those who signed the petition with their family and friends, Civic organizations, Non-Profit organizations, churches, farmers, farmworkers, including anybody who has a serious concern with the escalated violence against farmers and our farming community and now also spreading to cities, towns and small villages.
2. This march is not to benefit or promote any political party, political ideology, or any party leader; We do not want to shift our focus from our own cause.
THE CAPE TOWN PLANNING / ORGANISING GROUP FOR THE MARCH
The role of the Western Cape Civic Association (WCCA), a registered Non-Profit Company (a 501.c3 registered Non-Profit) in South Africa –
Registration number: K2020747266 – registered in 2020
I am not doing all the planning on my own, but with a group of Cape Town Religious and Civic leaders from various sectors of our society.
We also have an Operations Team in place that does the Project Planning and the Operational management of the march.
However, we would also be recruiting several hundreds of volunteers to assist with the role out of the march as we get closer to the day of the march.
WHY DO WE MARCH? WHAT DO WE WANT?
THE ISSUES FOR OUR MARCH:
FIRSTLY, SAFETY, AND SECURITY!
We want:
1. An end to ALL FARM MURDERS, irrespective of race, color or creed;
2. We want our Government to protect our food security – make farmers, farms, and farm workers an essential service and take special measures to protect them; Do not wait until we reach the level of Zimbabwe – then it will be too late – the consequences will be irreversible and recovery will take several decades with great economic suffering to ourselves, as the Zimbabwean experience is being revealed to us;
3. If the National government is unable to protect our farmers and our food security, then we want our farmers to have the right to form armed, self-protection community-based protection units (like security companies) throughout our country; it is either government protection or the people will opt for self-defense – no protection is not an option.
SECONDLY, THE PROTECTION OF OUR ECONOMIC AND FOOD SECURITY IN SOUTH AFRICA
1. When a farmer is murdered, we South Africans, lose much more than one farmer. Not only is his/her life lost forever, and not only does his/her family suffer great emotional trauma and pain, but we also lose the potential production of several tons of produce spread over a period of between 10 to 50 years.
If you use this as a basis to calculate the produce lost to our country as a result of the several hundred murdered farmers, then the loss to the South African economy runs into billions.
THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO STOP THIS CARNAGE NOW!!
IT IS A MATTER OF DO OR DIE!!!
AND WE WILL ALL SUFFER AS SOUTH AFRICANS, IRRESPECTIVE OF OUR RACE, RELIGION, CULTURE, LANGUAGE OR POLITICAL AFFILIATION IF WE BECOME OBSERVERS AND DO NOTHING!!!
WHAT DO WE NEED AND WHAT WE ARE PLANNING TO GET?
1. A good printer that would a big discount to print 20,000 A4 pages containing ALL the signatures of ALL the petitioners and 5,000 A4 pages containing all the comments that would be placed in 100 white coffins for our march to Parliament
2. Many good national and international public speakers that have a great concern to stop farm murders in South Africa;
3. A contact person in each city, town, and village to mobilize volunteers to attend the march;
4. The Mayor of Cape Town to welcome the marchers to the City;
5. All concerned religious leaders in South Africa who have a concern to stop the shedding of innocent blood;
6. All the Khoisan chiefs and leaders of the Western Cape who support our cause;
7. 100,000 Marchers with placards and posters;
8. 100,000 Colour leaflets;
