It is refreshing to learn that our former Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, do not support the expropriation of land without compensation. Her submission to Parliament on Section 25 is that there is no need to change the constitution to fast-track land restitution because the options presented by section 25 of the constitution has not been exhausted. There has been too much corruption by the government itself dealing with land restitution and redistribution, which caused the delay with land restitution and redistribution.
