Tom Livingstone, one of our supporters, mentioned the painting 'The First Steamboat on the Clyde' by John Knox which hangs outside the tearoom at Pollock House. Glasgow Museums kindly gave us permission to use the image on our petition. Dumbuckhill features prominently in the painting, along with Dumbarton Rock in the distance, and the image is a fine example of what has already been lost to us due to development. This view was from the top of Dalnotter Hill and is now obscured by the Erskine Bridge.
